Features

BaySpec Ion-K9 Portable, Non-Contact Trace Vapor Detector

Ion-K9 is a breakthrough portable system for non-contact, real-time detection of trace vapors of explosives and narcotics. It combines ppt-level sensitivity, a miniaturized linear ion trap mass analyzer, and non-radioactive ionization in a rugged, field-deployable platform designed for security and forensic operations.

By enabling direct vapor detection without physical sampling, Ion-K9 significantly improves operator safety while accelerating screening of people, baggage, cargo, vehicles, and environments.
