Pesticides are chemicals that are very closely monitored and may not always be easy for an analytical chemist to monitor and detect.
Thanks to their use in agriculture and subsequently also their cycle in environment we can find them almost everywhere. The variety of analyzed matrices is so wide, ** detection limits ** are pushing down and the field of analytical chemistry is also under pressure on sample throughput, and thus also the efficiency and economy of methods.
Instrumental techniques are also being developed hand in hand with these requirements, and we will look at the latest possibilities of gas chromatographs (GC) in connection with triple quadrupole mass spectrometers (GC/QQQ) in this overview.
We will focus on 2 main areas of these analyzes, namely food and the environment, in which you can then filter in more detail in the library, eg by combination with other techniques or take a closer look at sample preparation and suitable GC columns.
