In the second webinar, Lucie K. Tintrop from Agroscope, where the technique was originally developed, joins Thomas Albinus and Stefan Cretnik to present V-ITEX from an application perspective.

Using practical examples, the session shows how V-ITEX can improve sensitivity, expand the detectable analyte range, and support efficient automated analysis in fields such as food analysis, biotechnology, agricultural science, and metabolomics.

Special attention is given to the benefits of the technique for volatile compound analysis in complex matrices and biological samples, as well as for aroma-related applications and nutritional volatolomics.
