Agilent Technologies: Agilent Oil and Gas Insights Series 2026

The Agilent Oil and Gas Insights Series 2026 presents three focused webinars showcasing advanced analytical solutions for natural gas and petrochemical applications. The series covers end‑to‑end natural gas characterization — from compositional analysis to sulphur detection and calorific value determination — followed by a deep dive into liquid chromatography workflows for petroleum products using the Agilent InfinityLab LC Series. The final session highlights fast, robust Micro‑GC technologies for mudlogging, hydrogen‑blended gas monitoring, and odorization control. Together, these sessions equip laboratories and operators with the tools to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across the energy value chain.

Part 2: Mud Logging and Natural Gas Solutions for Micro-GC

During this session we will present an overview of Micro-GC based solutions for different segments in Natural Gas Analysis. These include solutions for Mudlogging, analysis of (Hydrogen Blended) Natural gas, Odorization Control.

Presenter: Rob de Jong (Product Manager Micro GC, Agilent Technologies)

Rob de Jong is Product Manager for Micro GC at Agilent. He has a background in Analytical Chemistry Science. After getting a BSc degree in Hogeschool Utrecht / University of applied sciences, he has been working in field of (mainly gas) Chromatography for over 30 years, holding different positions in sales, R&D, application development, project and product management. After being involved in the initial R&D development hase of the 4900 Micro GC PRO early 2000s, he has reconnected with the Micro GC product as Product manager in Agilent.
