Presenter: Chris Welsby (Raman ID Product Line Manager, Agilent Technologies)

Chris is a PhD chemist, graduating from Cardiff University in 2001 having studied heterogenous catalysis, now focusing on molecular spectroscopy products intended for the pharma industry, namely Spatially Offset Raman Spectroscopy (SORS) through barrier technology, to enable verification of raw material ID through packaging in the warehouse environment. Chris has worked as part of the marketing team on Spatially Offset Raman applications since 2016, firstly as an Applications Scientist and latterly as a Marketing Product Manager of the Vaya handheld for raw material ID.
