Metrohm: Accelerating QC analysis with next-generation Raman spectroscopy

Traditional testing techniques used in quality control labs often require extensive sample prep, generate waste, and can have lengthy analysis times. Raman spectroscopy is a non-destructive, faster, and cleaner option with no sample prep required, no waste generated, and results provided in seconds.

In our webinar on October 16, we take a closer look at these specific benefits of Raman spectroscopy and how this technology is applied for routine analysis in the modern QC lab.

Join Kristen Frano, Laboratory Raman Product Manager, and myself, Dr. Michael Allen, VP Products and Marketing from Metrohm Spectro, and learn how adding next-generation Raman spectroscopy to your traditional instruments will help you speed up analysis and boost efficiency of your lab.

Key learnings of this webinar:
  • The different types of measurements that can be made by Raman spectroscopy
  • Specific applications where Raman can be used for quality control
  • Basics of creating Raman methods to accelerate chromatography and other analytical techniques
Who should attend?

Lab managers lab technicians, chemists, and everybody else interested in making their routine analysis more efficient.

Presenter: Kristen Frano (Product Manager Spectroscopy, Metrohm Spectro)

Kristen Frano joined B&W Tek (a Metrohm company) in 2016 as an application scientist specializing in laboratory and handheld Raman instrumentation. Over the years, she has collaborated with users on diverse applications including polymers, art conservation, and pharmaceuticals. Since 2022 Kristen has been supporting laboratory Raman products throughout Metrohm as a product manager based at Metrohm Spectro in Plainsboro, NJ (USA).

Presenter: Dr. Michael Allen (VP Products & Marketing, Metrohm Spectro)

Michael Allen is the VP of Products & Marketing for Raman products at Metrohm. Michael and his team are responsible for developing next-generation Raman instruments and innovative applications for a variety of industries.
