We are thrilled to share that Tatiana Cucu (Group Lead) will be giving a virtual lecture "From odor to relevant data: cutting-edge technologies in aroma analysis" on September 18th.

What can you expect?
  • Overview of how GC-MS and GC-MS/MS can be applied to aroma analysis with enhanced sensitivity and specificity
  • Key notes into sample preparation, including miniaturization and automation for more efficient workflows
  • Insights into how scent analysis plays a key role in maintaining quality standards and meeting consumer expectations across industries

Connect with us: join us for an insightful session on how advanced analytics are shaping the future of sensory science.

Presenter: Tatiana Cucu (Group Leader, RIC group)

Tatiana received her PhD degree in the field of food safety and food quality in 2011 at University of Gent, Belgium. During her PhD and later during her post-doc she developed analytical methods for the analysis of among others food allergens and food additives. In 2015 she joined RIC where she is involved in projects related to development and optimisation of GC-MS and GC-MS/MS methods, miniaturisation and automatisation of sample preparation methods and development of new applications for food, environmental, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries.
