Session 1: Plastics/Polymers sorting using vibrational spectroscopy 
  • Speaker: Dr. Hilmar Geitlinger

Dr. Hilmar Geitlinger will kick off the day with a presentation on advanced methods for sorting plastics and polymers. This session will explore the latest technologies used to efficiently and accurately sort different types of polymers, which is crucial for recycling and manufacturing processes. Session 2: Multilayer/Inclusions in polymers and food packaging using IR/Raman microscopy
  • Speaker: Dr. Alexander Boehm

Following Dr. Geitlinger, Dr. Alexander Boehm will present on the characterization of multilayer structures and inclusions within polymers. This session will cover the challenges and solutions associated with analyzing complex polymer systems that contain multiple layers or embedded inclusions.
