Thermo Fisher Scientific: MOSH MOAH Analysis Made Clear: Strategies for Diverse Matrices

Mineral Oil Hydrocarbons (MOH) are increasingly recognized as a significant concern in food safety, driving demand in the food testing market globally and particularly in India. The complexity of analyzing Mineral Oil Saturated Hydrocarbons (MOSH) and Mineral Oil Aromatic Hydrocarbons (MOAH) necessitates meticulous optimization at every stage of the analytical process.

Join our upcoming webinar, "MOSH MOAH Analysis Made Clear: Strategies for Diverse Matrices," to learn from our experts about advanced MOSH/MOAH analysis techniques designed to tackle diverse matrices with exceptional efficiency and precision. Discover how cutting-edge hyphenated techniques like LC-GC, LC-GC × GCMS, and GC × GC-MS are revolutionizing the automation and accuracy of MOSH/MOAH analysis. These methods are adept at handling complex matrices, ensuring reliable results across various applications.

To further enrich your learning experience, we will conclude the webinar with a live Q&A session, providing an opportunity for you to engage directly with our experts and get answers to your specific questions

Presenter: Jorn Hofsteenge (Analytical Support Specialist, Interscience Netherlands)

Jorn Hofsteenge studied analytical chemistry at the Avans University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. He began his career in the QC department of a pharmaceutical company, where he worked for two years before joining Interscience seven years ago. For the past six years, he has been primarily responsible for the MOSH/MOAH application. Since then, both the system and the team have grown. Jorn is now part of the Interscience MOSH/MOAH team, which consists of four specialists. His focus is mainly on the development of the system, training of technicians and customers, and performing installations of the system around the world.

Presenter: Inge de Dobbeleer (Account Manager, Interscience Netherlands)

Inge de Dobbeleer holds a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry. She began her career at the Belgian Food Safety Authority, then moved to the Netherlands to develop environmental analysis methods at SGS in Rotterdam. She later joined Interscience, installing GCMS systems across the country. In her forties, Inge became EU GCMS expert at Thermo Fisher Scientific, eventually overseeing EMEA GCMS marketing. Today, she is part of Interscience’s commercial team, working closely with Thermo Fisher on specialized GC and GCMS solutions.
