Waters Corporation: Elevate Your Quality with Empower™ Review by Exception

Across all industries reviewing data is a critical step for ensuring quality results in your organization. When you support a large number of products and laboratories, data review can often feel like an overwhelming task, especially when combined with the pressures of increased scrutiny on data integrity and the need to speed up answers to the rest of your organization. Gaining efficiencies in the data review process while also identifying data requiring a more detailed review is a key to alleviating some of this stress.

  • Are you looking for a more efficient way to review data while also reducing risk?
  • Do you feel confident that you would detect any data integrity issues?

Empower™ Chromatography Data System has inherent functionality that you can leverage to speed up data review. In this session, we will explore the options available to help you automate and optimize data review as you work to reduce risk and we will work through a detailed example of how to implement review by exception.

Key Learning Objectives

  • Leveraging automated review by exception tools to improve detection of potential data integrity issues
  • Evaluating whether a result can be trusted before approving data
  • Identifying high-risk results that show warning signs of potential issues
  • Understanding the role of the human reviewer to determine if the high-risk results are evidence of data manipulation, or valid scientific actions to resolve poor separation and integration
