Agilent: High Sensitivity Pesticide Analysis Using Hydrogen Carrier Gas

Pesticides analysis is very important topic for most laboratories involved with the environmental and food analysis. Due to the number of analyses performed on this topic it’s important to reduce the cost per sample for these tests.

An important cost link to this analysis is the Helium price that is constantly increasing and greatly impacting the revenue.

During this webinar we will present key strategies for pesticide analysis with gas chromatography/triple quadrupole mass spectrometry (GC/TQ) using hydrogen as the carrier gas while maintaining sensitivity to meet maximum residue limits (MRLs).

The key aspect that will be addressed are the column configuration, analytical condition as well as the impact of using hydrogen in the analytical results.

This webinar is dedicated to any pesticides laboratory that want to switch to hydrogen and reduce their cost per sample and reduce the frequency of source cleaning maintenance requirements to minimize downtime of the system, as well as anyone who is interested in the process to change carrier gas.

Presenter: Laurent Pascaud (Product Specialist GC & GC/MS, Agilent)
