Agilent Technologies: Agilent 2020 GC/Q-TOF Virtual User Forum

This is an Agilent hosted event for the community scientists and users interested in the technology, workflows and solutions the Agilent GC/Q-TOF can bring to your work.

This year a virtual meeting. This will allow us to continue to work together as a user community at a time when travel restriction make physical meetings impossible.

Users will share application developments and success stories, walk you through the latest software tools and hardware tips to let you get more from the instrument and the data.

Presentations covering metabolomics, doping control, food safety and authenticity, environmental safety among the topics of discussion. Take a look at the agenda, to see the latest additions.

As always this is your meeting - feel free to chat with other users and specialists, give us your feedback and requests for development. Join the community and stay updated.

We open the doors on Wednesday 7th October at 9:30 AM BST/ 10:30 AM (CET) with live presentations on that day. All other presentations will be available on demand, so you can download/view them where and when is easiest for you.

  • Broadcast at 2:00 PM BST / 3:00 PM CEST - The role of GC/Q-TOF in the engineering of high-value small molecules in baker’s yeast

Speaker: Dr. Tessa Moses, Metabolomics Specialist, EdinOmics, The University of Edinburgh, UK

  • Broadcast at 3:00 PM BST/ 4:00 PM CEST - Comprehensive Profiling of Environmental Contaminants in Waste Water Effluent Surface Water Using High-Resolution GC/Q-TOF

Speaker: Sofia Nieto, GC/Q-TOF Application Chemist, Agilent, USA

Please take this opportunity to ask the speaker questions during each live broadcast.

All other presentations will be available on demand, so you can download/view them where and when is easiest for you.

Agilent is delighted you are interested, if you'd like to register here we'll keep you update and look forward to welcoming you to the 2020 GC/Q-TOF User Forum.
