Restek Corporation: An ounce of prevention: How good laboratory practice minimizes GC downtime

Columns, run conditions, and temperature programs are critical to good chromatography, but so is a well-maintained gas chromatography (GC) instrument. GCs depend on regular maintenance to keep seals tight and pathways inert if you want to consistently produce the best data.

In this webinar, Dr. Mark Badger, Senior Product Manager GC Accessories at Restek Corporation, will cover three critical GC maintenance topics: reducing contamination, best practices for replacing parts, and key steps to optimize your applications.

Key learning objectives
  • Discover how to take a comprehensive approach to routine GC maintenance
  • Learn how to identify and prevent sources of contamination
  • Discover how to identify best practices for the installation and replacement of parts
  • Explore steps to optimize your applications
Who should attend?

Lab directors, scientists, method developers, analysts, and technicians interested in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimal performance of GC systems.

Presenter: Dr. Mark Badger (Restek Corporation)
