Thermo Scientific: Ask-the-Experts session about injection technologies in GC and GC-MS

In this gas chromatography experts session in February, we have the focus on injection. This is the most error prone step of the GC analysis and can effect resutls significantly.

There are several injection options, and each holds its own pitfalls: Split/splitless, temperature programmable, on-column, headspace, solid phase micro extraction, thermal desorption, purge and trap, just to name the most common injection techniques.

In this webinar, our GC&GC-MS experts Petra Gerhards, Timm Sperling and Dr. Thomas Stegemann (together, the three have almost 80 years of experience in this area) will answer all your questions regarding injection.

Ideally, please send us your questions in advance. You can do that during registration or anytime via email to ([email protected]). That allows us to group incoming questions under certain aspects.

Also during the live session, you can submit your questions with the Q&A chat function. We will answer all questions. In case we are running out of time during the live webinar, we will reach out to you afterwards.

That's what you can expect:

  • Answers to your specific questions related to GC injection technologies
  • Tips and tricks that help to improve your analysis
  • Increase your GC and GC-MS knowledge
  • News in GC and GC-MS technology
  • Troubleshooting tips for your GC analysis

Who should participate?

  • Everybody who is interested in gas chromatography, specifically in injection techniques

Presenter: Petra Gerhards (Regional Marketing Manager EMEA GC&GC-MS, Thermo Fisher Scientific)

Presenter: Dr. Thomas Stegemann (Senior Application Specialist GC/GC-MS, Thermo Fisher Scientific)

Presenter: Timm Sperling (Chromatography Expert & Technical Sales Specialist, Thermo Fisher Scientific)
