The GERSTEL-MOSH/MOAH-Sample Prep Solution is based on an online HPLC-GC/FID system combined with the GERSTEL MultiPurpose Sampler (MPS robotic) for automated sample preparation and sample introduction.

The mineral oil saturated hydrocarbon (MOSH) and mineral oil aromatic hydrocarbon (MOAH) fractions are separated by HPLC and individually transferred to separate GC columns for analysis in a combined dual channel GC system determining both MOSH and MOAH in a single GC run. Mineral oil residues in extracts of food, feed, body care products and packaging can be determined in only 30 minutes.

The GERSTEL MOSH/MOAH Sample Prep Solution is modular in design and can be expanded at any time to include further sample preparation steps such as automated epoxidation or AlOx clean-up.

The integrated software control is intuitively operated and quantification is performed by simple batch processing of a large number of chromatograms using a user defined or pre-defined method including report generation by mouse click. Predefined or user customized report formats can be chosen by mouse-click.
