Agilent Technologies: New GC Column Technology for Old Problems in Fatty Acid Analysis

Food testing regulatory methods around the world require separation of fatty acid and its isomers when determining fatty acid composition by GC/FID. This is, perhaps, one of the oldest and most popular gas chromatography analyses. Unfortunately, choosing right GC column for the right application is not an easy task. This is in part because the set of analytes that needs to be resolved is challenging.

Are you looking for solutions to achieve fast, accurate and reproducible separations of FAMEs, fatty acids and triglycerides from both simple and complex samples? Join this webinar as it will provide you with a guideline and tips to find out if you are using the right GC column for the right fat and oil application.

In this webinar, we will discuss:

  • Selection of columns for critical cis/trans separations
  • New Innovative technologies in GC column chemistries for FAME analysis
  • New High-Resolution columns for faster analysis of FAMEs
