QUALITY TECHNICIAN
Job Description
Responsible for carrying out raw materials testing within an ISO accredited laboratory environment.
Position requirements include tissue culture testing, microbiological analysis and analytical chemistry.
Successful performance of job duties ensures we meet testing schedules, customer satisfaction, departmental safety and quality objectives.
What will you do!!
Performs release testing according to standard operating procedures in a timely and efficient manner. Key tasks for this role include:
Raw Material Sampling and testing
Water sampling and testing
Identification by FTIR
Basic wet chemistry techniques, karl fisher analysis, HPLC, UPLC.
Calibration and maintenance of equipment
May be required to perform other related duties as the need arises and/or assigned.
Provide support to initiate and implement validation processes, technical investigations and improvement initiatives.
Preparation of written reports is required
Maintain thorough and complete product test records per in house testing procedures and in accordance with ISO 13485 standards.
Participate in personal development opportunities to further improve skills and knowledge relevant to the position.
What we looking for:
Requires a bachelor’s degree within a Chemistry background
Strong oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional team environment and to effectively interact with all levels of the company. Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external development team members are essential.
Will liaise extensively with all other department within the operational department. Customer and external lab communication is also encouraged within this role
Work in conducted in an analytical lab environment. Is required perform raw material sampling, this will involve the movement of boxes and pallets.
