FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER
Job Description
Conduct on-site installation of complex equipment and follow testing procedures to ensure proper working order:
Conduct on-site scheduled planned maintenance visits
Provide troubleshooting and repair support for customers and other field service personnel
Cultivate and develop positive working relationships with customers, system users and company personnel
Travel, often on short notice, to customer sites to resolve problems or support other field service personnel
Complete and submit field service reports
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or above in physis sciences, engineering, scientific field or equivalent required.
Basic knowledge of Ultra High Vacuum (UHV) techniques. It is advantageous to have knowledge and experience of other analytical techniques such as UPS (Ultra-Violet Photoelectron Spectroscopy), AES (Auger Electron Spectroscopy), SEM (Scanning electron microscope), REELS (Reflection Electron Energy Loss Spectroscopy), ISS (Ion Scattering Spectroscopy), etc.
Willingness and ability to travel domestic and overseas.
Ability to work with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
Ability to prioritize and plan, work individually on multiple tasks.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal with English and Chinese (Mandarin).
