As a Chemistries and Supplies Account Manager, you will join Agilent’s dynamic and high-achieving LSAG sales team.
-
As an integral member of the Field Sales Team you will be responsible for selling Agilent Chemistries & Supplies products to end-user customers with an emphasis on Pharmaceutical and Biopharma market segments.

- US-MA-Remote Location-Boston City Limits
- US-MA-Remote Location-Lexington Area
Responsibilities:

Focus on acquiring new customers and retaining and growing the existing installed base of customers for the assigned geography, territory and markets.

Promote and sell products and workflow solutions to current or new customers and inform customers of new product introductions primarily through outbound sales activities.

Develop positive ongoing long-term relationships with key accounts and maintain customer satisfaction.

Follow up on leads coming from our demand generation system.

Lead projects cross-functionally within Agilent, partnering with Instrument Account Managers in targeted accounts.

Provide leads to other team members through Agilent's CRM system.

Drive customer utilization of Agilent’s online sales
Qualifications
-
Reside in the Boston or Lexington area
-
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in science (Chemistry/Biochemistry) or equivalent
-
Experience with gas/liquid chromatography instrumentation preferred
-
Typically, at least 4+ years relevant experience for entry into this level

Proven ability to understand customer needs and identify solutions to non-standard tasks/queries; actively creates business opportunities

Demonstrates advanced proficiency with computer systems and programs. Ability to analyze territory with Excel pivot tables and complete online training modules

Ability to solve a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
-
Available for up to 35% travel within assigned territory
