QC HPLC GROUP LEADER
Job Description
- At least 3-5 years of leadership experience in a scientific industry setting is required.
Position Responsibilities:
-
Performs analytical testing that may include the following instruments: HPLC, LCMS, GCMS, etc.

Completes test records and reviews data to ensure compliance with standards in a routine quality control environment.

Reports anomalies in data results.
-
May assist in validation of methods.
-
Maintains laboratory supplies.
-
Calibrates or verifies calibration of instruments/devices prior to use.
-
Interacts with outside customers or functional peer groups.
Leadership Responsibilities:
-
Supports and monitors team of analysts.
-
May participate in new hire interviews.
-
Supports the on-boarding process of new employees.
-
Participates in training of other employees.
-
Performs peer review of data.
-
Assists in coordinating equipment maintenance and calibration.
Qualifications
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in HPLC, LCMS, and/or GCMS strongly preferred
Basic Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or other science related degree concentration.

At least 3-5 years of leadership experience in a scientific industry setting is required.

Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.

Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
Additional Information

Position is full-time,
-
Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm.

A 10% 2nd Shift Differential will be added to base pay rate for 2nd Shift hours worked.

Base Compensation is $32-37 per hour based on experience.

2nd Shift Positions will add a 10% differential to the base pay.
