Hardware Engineer
Metrohm Autolab, a fully owned subsidiary of Metrohm Group, is a leading supplier of analytical and scientific instrumentation for electrochemistry for fundamental and applied research in Academic and Industrial R&D, serving exciting and fast-growing markets such as: Energy Storage and Generation including Batteries, Fuel cells for electric vehicles and mobile devices, Electrocatalysis, (Bio-)sensors, Corrosion research and testing, addressing a wide variety of applications.
Our premises are located in Utrecht, The Netherlands with more than 50 employees responsible for development, production, marketing, and sales of the Metrohm Autolab portfolio world-wide.
Your assignment:
- You contribute to the development and maintenance of the hardware of high-quality instruments for technical scientific research.
- You develop electronics for products with a high degree of mixed technology of digital and analogue techniques.
- You work collaboratively with software engineers, architects, and hardware engineers in one of our SCRUM teams.
Your profile:
- You are a motivated hardware developer (Bachelor level or above) with good analytical and self-learning skills.
- You like to work as a team player and, at the same time, are committed to your tasks.
- You have experience working in a project-based environment with deadlines.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in developing electronics. Experience in designing analogue electronics, such as discrete amplifiers, is a big plus.
- You have a solid understanding of analogue electronic design. Experience with calibration, precision A/D conversion, low-noise design, low-current measurement, and high-input-impedance circuits is an advantage.
- Due to the international character of our company, good knowledge of the English language is necessary.
