Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline
  • Strong background in chemometrics (highly preferred)
  • Experience with Raman and/or NIR spectroscopy (benchtop systems essential; handheld Raman and process spectroscopy desirable)
  • Familiarity with field-based or portable spectroscopy applications is advantageous
  • Demonstrated experience in applications, product management, or technical sales roles
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical customer solutions
  • Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently across a regional territory
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland. Ideally located in the Northwest but not essential.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Commercial awareness and strategic thinking
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and performance-related bonus
  • Company car
  • Mobile phone, laptop, and iPad
  • Pension scheme
  • Opportunities for professional development and career progression
  • A dynamic and collaborative working environment

Territory
