Analyst - Proximate
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Gas Chromatography – Flame Ionization Detection (GC-FID) instruments.
- Perform testing and analysis of proximate and UV parameters according to established methods and specifications.
- Conduct fatty acid analysis and ensure accurate data generation and reporting.
- Manage sample receipt, storage, preparation, and retention before and after analysis.
- Maintain and monitor Certified Reference Materials (CRMs) and laboratory standards.
- Carry out method verification and validation activities in accordance with regulatory and quality requirements.
- Analyze, interpret, and report test results with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory quality systems, safety guidelines, and good laboratory practices (GLP).
- Maintain laboratory records, logs, and analytical reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food Technology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline
