Field Service Engineer (Gas Chromatography)
VRS is looking for a Field Service Engineer / Technician with a background in GC. The successful candidate will join a service team responsible for providing bespoke gas chromatography solutions within refineries across California and the Western US.
Primary Responsibilities
- Installation, customized configuration, and repair of instrumentation in a process analytical environment.
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide professional service within required response times.
- Maintain knowledge of the use and application of current and new product offerings.
- Travel extensively throughout California and the West (90%); ideally located in the Greater Los Angeles area
Candidate Qualifications
- Gas Chromatography preventative maintenance and repair/troubleshooting experience.
- Practical, logical, and calm approach to troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills; patience with customers.
- Flexibility to travel outside of designated territory as needed.
- OPEN TO GC USERS INTERESTED IN LEAVING THE LAB
