Laboratory Manager
About the Position
The Oil and Lubricants Division at our Seaview site in Wellington, is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced person to manage our existing team in the day-to-day running of the laboratory.
This is an ideal position for an experienced production orientated manager, or an experienced Lab Supervisor wanting to take that next step to lead a committed and dedicated team who continually strive to meet and exceed client expectations.
This role provides a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a wide and varied range of management disciplines in a multi-faceted Oil and Lubricants laboratory including staff management, financial management and direct interaction with suppliers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Daily management of the laboratory’s testing operations within QC and TAT targets
- Managing site and company compliance
- Leading and motivating teams in a fast-paced laboratory environment
- Developing, fostering and maintaining supplier relations
- Quality control and maintaining ISO17025 accreditation
