Technical Solution Specialist
Job Description
- Develop a deep understanding of business processes in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, chemical & energy, and food industries, and provide tailored professional solutions based on industry needs.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency with Agilent software products (including OpenLab, MassHunter, etc.) and related system architectures, with the ability to independently design and deliver solutions.
- Be familiar with Agilent’s major analytical instruments, including but not limited to LC, GC, LCMS,GCMS.
- Possess strong research, solution development, and delivery capabilities; able to design and implement differentiated solutions leveraging Agilent’s product portfolio to enhance customer experience and project competitiveness.
- Communicate effectively in English (both written and spoken) with SU factories and stakeholders, clearly articulating technical solutions and their value.
- Exhibit outstanding teamwork and communication skills when collaborating across departments (SU/PLs/Support/Marketing, etc.), ensuring smooth project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Biotechnology, Automation, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience, with at least 3 years in laboratory informatics, analytical instruments, or software solutions.
- Prior experience in supporting pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical customers or implementing laboratory digitalization/automation solutions is highly preferred.
- Solid project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive projects independently in complex environments.
- Strong customer-oriented mindset, capable of delivering innovative and practical solutions when facing challenges.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 50% of the time to support customer project implementation.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, data integrity) is a strong plus.
- Experience in AI, digital transformation, or laboratory automation projects is highly desirable.
Additional Details
This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.
