Engineer II, Field Service
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking an ambitious and proven Engineer II, Field Service to join our world-class team in Chennai. This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to our mission of enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
Responsibilities:
- Install and service HPLC, IC, and GC instruments, ensuring flawless performance and customer happiness
- Successfully implement maintenance and repair protocols for analytical instruments
- Determine root causes of technical issues and provide timely, effective solutions
- Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure outstanding service quality
- Develop commercial revenue in the South1 region by engaging with potential clients and growing our market presence
Requirements:
- Engineering graduate with a minimum experience in analytical instrument service
- Proven track record in resolving technical challenges effectively
- Excellent communication skills to foster productive collaboration internally and externally
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
