Sales Manager, Chromatography / Mass Spec
We are seeking to hire a sales and application leader to oversee our Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry team (CMS) in Canada, which includes Account Managers, Product Specialists, and Inside Sales Reps. This individual will be responsible for managing the Canadian CMS business with focus on successful sales outcomes, collaborating both with internal and external stakeholders, influence our customer 1st drive and approach, and develop our future strategies to influence our market visibility and overall wallet share. In short, responsible for the overall sales operations, including strategies and results for our Canadian CMS business.
Plans and directs all sales activities including planning and implementing forecasts, developing policies, implementing and/or developing the sales strategies, managing customer relationships design of specific programs to achieve business objectives and staffing and training the sales force.
Establishes short- and long-term goals and quotas in alignment with company objectives.
Qualifications
- BS in a life sciences or related field; PhD, M.S. or MBA preferred
- 3+ years of strong first and/or second level manager skills required, with strong sale experience focusing on delivering customer outcomes while growing our market visibility and market share
- 5+ years of life science or applied market equipment sales experience
- Strong communication skills
- Proven ability to lead a sales team for growth
- Excellent knowledge of Canadian markets including academia, government, environmental testing, raw materials, pharma, biopharma, and chemical and energy
- Bilingual preferred (English and French)
Additional Details
This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. It is sales incentive eligible.
The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $201,552.00 - $335,920.00/yr CAD plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
