The 12th MS J-day in Pisa on 22-23 May 2025 (1st International Edition)

The event is dedicated to students, PhD candidates, postdocs, and early-career researchers working with mass spectrometry or exploring its diverse applications. The 12th MS J-day offers a dynamic platform for participants to present their research through oral presentations and poster sessions, facilitating valuable discussions on cutting-edge advancements and challenges in the field. It’s an excellent opportunity to connect with peers, exchange ideas, and showcase your work to a supportive community of young scientists.

Following the success of previous editions, this year promises even more exciting scientific content, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities. In addition to the academic program, participants will have the chance to experience the vibrant atmosphere of Pisa and enjoy a social evening to foster collaborations and friendships.

Participants are now invited to submit abstracts for oral & poster presentations.

Deadline for abstract submission is April 1, 2025.

SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT

Abstract Submission Requirements

  • Language for abstracts & slides: English
  • ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: each presentation will be scheduled for a total of 15 minutes
  • POSTERS: 70 cm (width) x 100 cm (height) maximum size
  • Accepted abstracts for oral and poster communications will be published in the Congress Proceedings with ISBN code

How to reach the venue:

From Pisa Galileo Galilei International Airport:

The shuttle PisaMover connecting the airport with Pisa Centrale Railway Station operates every day from 6:00 AM to 12:00 AM, with variable frequencies depending on the number of passengers. The average travel time between the airport and the railway station, including intermediate stops, is about 5 minutes.

From Pisa Centrale Railway Station:

The walk from Pisa Centrale to Palazzo della Carovana takes about 20 to 25 minutes, depending on your pace. Upon exiting the station, head straight toward Corso Italia until you reach the end, where it intersects with Ponte di Mezzo. After crossing the bridge, continue onto Borgo Stretto. At the end of the colonnades, turn left onto Via Ulisse Dini, which will lead you to Piazza dei Cavalieri.
