Guest Speakers
- Dr. Lee Bai Qin is the APAC Application Manager from Markes International, a Velaris Brand. With a PhD in analytical chemistry, he brings a strong technical background to his role, providing invaluable support and guidance to channel partners and customers. Before joining Markes, he developed his method development and method validation expertise at a leading commercial laboratory.
Dr Caroline Widdowson is a specialist in the sampling and analysis of trace-level volatile and semi-volatile organic compounds in solids, liquids and gases. She holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry and an MBA. She is currently Director of Scientific Affairs at Markes International, an advanced analytical instrument manufacturer.
Caroline works closely with international standards organisations, regulators and scientific groups, supporting countries in the development of practical and reliable sampling and analytical methods. She is Chair of the UK national standards committee (BSI) for Indoor Air Quality and Convenor of ISO committee working groups which develop international standards for the measurement of VOCs in ambient, indoor and emitted from materials.
Chun-Lin Kuo is the Director of R&D at Jtron Technology, with over 15 years of experience in automation and system integration. He specializes in semiconductor manufacturing and laboratory automation integration.
His expertise covers Lab Automation, Fab Automation, and analytical instrument integration (GC-MS and ICP-MS), with strong experience in SECS/GEM communication protocols, EAP/MES system integration, and process monitoring (FDC).
He is dedicated to advancing smart laboratories and intelligent manufacturing by leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Edge Computing technologies. His work focuses on enhancing realtime system responsiveness and operational efficiency, while also promoting data integrity solutions compliant with 21 CFR Part 11 and ALCOA+ principles to support regulatory compliance and quality management.
