Organomation 24 Position MICROVAP Small Volume Evaporator (Refurbished)

This MICROVAP evaporator will include a refurbished heat bath, a brand new heat block, and a brand new nitrogen distribution assembly. All damaged or outdated parts in the bath have been replaced for optimal performance. The heat block will be custom drilled by our production team to accommodate your specific tube size. It can hold tubes with an outside diameter between 10-17 mm. This is a great low-cost option for labs who need to evaporate small to medium sized samples.

Conversion kits can also be purchased separately which allow this unit to accommodate 96 well plates.​

• The 24 Position MICROVAP is a compact nitrogen evaporator designed for concentrating small-volume samples in microcentrifuge tubes and GC vials. Its space-saving footprint makes it ideal for life science and pharmaceutical labs needing efficient evaporation for small batch workflows.
• The system accommodates up to 24 samples, with each unit customized for one vial size (10–17 mm OD). Additional sample blocks can be purchased for flexibility with different vial sizes. Custom-machined inserts and an anodized aluminum heat block ensure optimal heat transfer and uniform evaporation.
• Temperature is digitally controlled up to 130 °C with ±2 °C accuracy, providing excellent stability even at low temperatures. An ambient-temperature version is also available. Nitrogen gas flow is precisely managed via an adjustable flow meter, and luer lock hubs with stainless steel needles simplify sample setup.
• Key features include a high temperature limit switch, nitrogen filter, and optional acid-resistant construction. The MICROVAP is also adaptable for use with 96-well microplates via an available conversion kit, making it a versatile tool for diverse sample preparation needs.
