The Agilent Gas Clean Moisture Purifier (CP17971) is a gas purification cartridge designed to remove trace moisture (H₂O) from supply and detector gases used in gas chromatography (GC) systems. Moisture contamination can negatively affect chromatographic performance and may lead to hydrolysis damage of GC components.
By effectively removing water from the gas stream, the purifier helps achieve faster system stabilization, improves analytical reproducibility, and protects critical components such as GC columns, stationary phases, inlet liners, glass wool, and septa. The filter contains indicating media, allowing visual monitoring of the filter condition.
